The Beinecke Library

Heyy guys, how are you doing?

The post of today is about the Beinecke Library. The library has a cool feature instead of regular windows. They use these special marble panels that let in soft, diffused light. The panels are made of a type of marble called Danby and are kinda see-through but not totally clear.

They're great for protecting the rare books and manuscripts inside from too much light and harmful UV rays. Plus, they keep everything private and secure because you can't see inside from the outside.

The library is incredible. I loved meeting her. The architecture is fantastic. The reason for not having windows to conserve the books was brilliant. I loved writing my blog in the library

Thank you very much! See you guys in the another post.👋🏻
